The best job opportunities for you (you don't say what your husband does, but it would be true for him as well) would be in the larger metro areas, Phoenix or Tucson. Schools better in those areas too, although some areas within those metro areas will be better than others. Extracurricular things for the girls like sports, dancing, gymnastics, art, or other "endless opportunities" are going to be more prevalent there too. Biracial/multiracial families are not at all unusual in either of those cities or their suburbs. Do some reading in the forums for those two areas, you can also do searches in those forums, as the biracial issue has been discussed a lot, so you can join those discussions.

Chandler Chandler Chandler. Good schools, great family welcomed areas. You would be surprised how welcoming the east side is to people of different colors. I am not speaking negatively of the west area of Phoenix, I never lived there so I wouldn't speak about it.

Goodyear, Goodyear, Goodyear. LOL. I think that it doesn't matter where you live in the Phoenix metro area, interracial couples and mixed race kids will be welcomed like anyone else. Phoenix is pretty good that way.

^^^ I agree with Ponderosa, most anyplace in the metro valley area of greater Phoenix is ok. However locating near where you might work is important. You can save gas, time and money if you find a neighborhood nearer your work location. Can't live in Chandler and work at the hospitals in Sun City.

I'd recommend Gilbert. Gilbert is very family-oriented, and is cheaper than Chandler.
