No, I meant either Phoenix or Tucson in your response to my question about which city has a smaller amount of swings in temperatures

Karrahs, not to be a smarty pants, but we are in the Sonoran desert! Humidity is here, but on our worst day (monsoon season) it may get to 50%. The people are friendly and have a live-and-let-live attitude meaning that people don't get in your business! Take a trip out and see it for yourself. Should be able to get some decent rates on hotel rooms now that summer is approaching.

The people are very friendly and non snobbish here in Tucson! The humidity is low also. I think Tucson would be a better pick for you.

Tucson's elevation is arond 2600' ASL; Phoenix about 1150'. As a rule of thumb, Tucson will run about 5-7°F cooler across the board than Phoenix.
Both cities are very dry; Tucson's humidity is generally a little higher, but IMHO the difference is not in any way noticeable.
Even during the monsoon, the humidity in either city is far below almost anywhere else in the country.

Thanks!! Since I get cold at times even when its 75 degrees, I might go with Phoenix...but then Tucson seems to be more laid back...still need to do more thinking and research.

Note: Both cities CAN get a bit chilly during the winter. Both Tucson and the extreme north Valley (Carefree & Cave Creek) have occasionally (OK - rarely) seen measurable snow.

After acclimating, you'll probably find the winter nighttime lows (usually in the 30's/40's) downright COLD!

The daytime highs more than make up for that, though.

Comparing the weather . . . Tucson vs Phoenix is a tough call, Karrahs.

Unlike what others have posted, I find the humidity in Phoenix to be higher in most cases due to the much larger population, etc, however, not a big enough difference to matter. The temperature differences can be upwards to 15 plus degrees warmer in Phoenix, especially during the peak Summer months.

With that being stated . . . the primary difference is Phoenix is a BIG CITY, similar to Los Angeles, with lots of people, buildings and freeways compared to the small "cowtown ambiance" of Tucson.

Choosing between those two points would be much more important to me.

Good Luck

According to NOAA weather data the average humidity in Tucson is higher than in Phoenix. I don't think you can really dispute that.
