I know about Bullhead summers and I know about Prescott def having some cold winters.

Could posters here please tell me the good and bad about 1 compared to the other city? Like work, med care, shopping, crime and so on.

I lived in Lake Havasu City for 14 years. I loved living there, nice town but the summers got too hot for me, as I aged. Living there was a resort type atmosphere. I always felt safe. The winter weather is perfect. We loved boating.

I would get tired of looking at only desert and one would have to drive to Prescott or Flagg for change of scenery. Now that I live near Prescott, I find that the shopping and choice of restaurants much better in Prescott. The winters are mild and I like looking at snow. You are only 90 minutes from Phoenix. I would never move back to Lake Havasu.

I like BOTH places but for different reasons. You're right about the heat in Havasu. Tho Havasu is too fake IMHO; Bullhead seems to be more "real" tho it's def rougher looking.

I've never lived there so I'm not sure. I've visited Bullhead a few times and it's kind of "cool" with its little older houses and so on. The people there seem "real" too. Not fake like here in Scottsdale. Word has it Prescott is looking at serious water problems but Bullhead has the river next to it.

There isn't too much history in Bullhead because it didn't really get populated until the early 60s. Are you talking about Bullhead proper or outerlying areas?

Bullhead City and Ft Mohave mostly. Needles is old and I've read about its history and it's not real good. Laughlin doesn't do much for me 1 way or the other cause I don't gamble much.

Have you looked at Kingman? It's higher altitude and cooler, but not so much as Prescott.

Don't blame you. I've worked in the casinos since 1993 and I can't remember the last time I stuck a nickel in a slot.

Needles is kind of neat; there is architecture there that you won't find on the other side of the river.

Mohave Valley (where I live) is quite nice - large lots and homes. And it's a bit cooler here because we're concrete challenged. I think we're greener too. Lots of homes on wells which means I have grass and such. It also doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to fill my pool.
