Arizona here I come, maybe
Hello all
I have had a offer on my home, but due to him going thru a divorse he is looking to lease with option or land contract. He is able to put $5,000 down and pay $1000 a month, and in 3 years get a mortage to pay me off. I have talked to an realestate lawyer about setting up a contract. I know this is not the option I was hoping for but in this market it has been the only one I have gotter since I put it up for sale in Feb. I now have it FSBO, with the 6%going back to the buyer at closing. He is a police officer in my city and allowed my daughter (who works for a mortage company) to run his credit check.
This past weekend I sent out my resume to Verde Valley hospital, Yavapai county and a few other jobs I seen listed in the Sedona paper. This will also mean that buying a home may be put on the back burner for 6 months. I do have a question, do any of you know of anyone willing to rent to someone with 4 dogs? If this goes thru I will be looking in the Cottonwood area, and not looking for anything fancy. I am not a renter, since I have been a home owner since 77 so the less exspensive the better.
please wish me luck and common sence to make the right choice...

Best of luck to you!
Good luck on selling your home. You seem to be one of the few and fare in between.
Now did you hear that they're going to be shutting down the state? No secretary of state, no senator office, no liquor or lottery ticket sales, etc? This is absolutely sickening!
Ill be out in AZ this October to test at police departments, so best of luck to both of us?

What citys are you testing in? I wish you the best of luck.
I just heard about Michigan shutting down last night at work, so did they meet the midnight deadline or are we closed. I just can't believe this is happening, I just hope they can work something out.

BurtsBees, I wish you luck on your testing in Scottsdale, and will be keeping my fingers crossed.
Stumblina, Well I hope it all works out. I had so wanted just to sell out right but in these times maybe I just have to have a more open mind and be a bit more trusting.
Have you looked into other selling options? This was not my idea but he came to me with the offer, he said he had looked into it with my realtor months ago but at that time was told FHA or conventional.
Coffee sounds great, I will keep you posted on any progress. Can you believe I talked to a realestate lawyer who just sold his home that was on the market for 1 week, yes 1 week. Like he said he still has not closed, I asked him to send any good mo-jo my way.
Best of luck to all of us Michiganders tring to start a new life in Arizona...

WAY TO GO, Debbie . . . sounds like GREAT NEWS to me.
Considering the Real Estate Market right now . . . your "deal" is definitely CREATIVE and a great way to go.
Who knows . . . you may be able to find a similar deal for yourself once you arrive down here!
Good Luck and GET PACKIN"!
