Default willcox az

I was just looking for some information on Willcox Az. Is it a nice and safe place to live for a family? I know there pis not much there but have found some great deals on nice homes. I know there is not much there but I like small towns and it seems to have everything you need. I have alwdays lived in a small town and tuscon isnt to far away either. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I like Willcox personally...small town but a very prairie feel to it. I live only 40 minutes from there. Not a whole lot there, but I still like it.

make sure you check it out thoroughly before committing to anything there....

it's just another bypassed-by-the-interstate town....very quiet, actually, most of the time....little bit of a historic downtown for a few blocks with a few good businesses valiantly making a go of it....a couple truck stops out at the interstate, some farming/ranching employment, various government jobs, schools, small retail and service jobs....tourists head to the several attractions in the area

a big attempt several years ago at an orchard/winery business niche in the region has slowed a good bit and the town is struggling now....

as saffordpastor said, I also do like the town for its history and setting....but if I had to find a decent job there, uh............

I live south of there in Sunsites, but do not "DO NOT" Do Not buy site/sight unseen or without a mid summer visit and don't expect much employment. Tucson is a long hot hour to the city limits and an hour and half to downtown. I love it.

I dont mind that its small. Just concerned about safety for my family. I have employment options. I would not be looking if I didnt. My families safety and well being are my #1 priority.

I saw that but it seems like it is a lot of property crime and theft which seems to be all over down south.

Just make sure your kids don't get mixed up with drugs and alcohol and make sure to drive safely. I survived living there as a kid.
