Thumbs up Moving to Arizona...where to live?! Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tuscon?

We are moving to Arizona from California due to a job promotion and would love some opinions on where to live. My boyfriend and I work in Marketing and his territory will cover the entire state of Arizona. I need to find a job in that city in Event Marketing or something similar. We are in our late 20's and love to be in the scene. We love house music, lounge bars, culture, art, fashion, and great restaraunts. We have a dog and cat and No children. We live an urban/modern lifestyle. Is there any hope for us in Arizona?! Give me your insight.

I'd say the only hope for you is Central PHX or Scottsdale.

I'd say Scottsdale, maybe near old town and Fashion Square mall.

Moving to Tucson would be like a death sentence to your lifestyle.

What about Tempe?

I think you would love Scottsdale, maybe even some areas of Central Phoenix. The night life in each area is very interesting, diverse, cultural, modern, and urban.

AVOID TUCSON AT ALL COSTS!! You will be beyond disappointed. As others have mentioned, Central Phoenix and Scottsdale would probably be best. Central Phoenix is working on becoming more urban with several high-rise condo projects, the establishment of a downtown campus of Arizona State, and several other construction projects.

At this time, there may be no place in Arizona that perfectly fits your lifestyle. However, as I said before, Phoenix is up and coming.
