I have been look at city in AZ and Iam not sure I understand what unincorparted is?
Iam look to move to AZ in the next 3 years or less and would like to learn as much about the town and state as I can.

I have small kids and would like a twon around 50,000 with good school, low crime and great stopping. I have been reading about Superior, Florence, Coolidge, Globe, San Carlos but what do people who live in AZ think about them?

funinsunny, found this definition of unincorporated in the dictionary.

Unincorporated in law is a region of land that is not a part of any municipality. To "incorporate" in this context means to form a municipal corporation, i.e., a city or town with its own government. Thus, an unincorporated community is usually not subject to or taxed by a city government. Such regions are generally administered by default as a part of larger territorial divisions such as: township, borough, county, state, province, canton, parish, or country. It is uncommon, but not unknown, for small towns in fiscal crisis to disincorporate in order to have services provided by a higher administration.

I wouldn't choose any of those towns if you have kids, for shopping, or low crime. Maybe try Flagstaff?

Lots of areas and subdivisions around AZ are "unincorporated". That just means that those areas are in an unincorporated part of the county and not part of an incorporated city. For example, Prescott Valley and Dewey-Humboldt are incorporated cities. The Prescott Country Club subdivision is in unincorporated Yavapai County between the two cities.

Some areas are more extreme. E.g., The Castle Canyon Mesa subdivision is about 1 mile from downtown Prescott Valley, is surrounded by Prescott Valley, but is still unincorporated. I don't know the exact history of this subdivision, but I woud guess that they did not want to join the city and have an assessment levied on them to convert to city sewer. So, they're still on septic systems.

Be careful of unincorporated areas. I've heard of issues with schools as well as fire and police departments. Hopefully others here can provide more info.

Here's an article that came out in yesterday's Prescott Valley Tribune about a couple of area schools receiving "excelling" scores:

Around here (Prescott Valley), the schools are shared among the county lands and city lands. The city does not have its own school district. I have also heard, but cannot confirm that any child can go to a Prescott school if their parents are willing to drive them there every day. I.e., they cannot use the Prescott school buses.

If you're looking for good schools and great shopping I definitly think you're looking in the wrong areas. I know several families who have moved out in those areas for home prices and are miserable. They'd move if they could but they can't sell their houses. I have never talked to any families who are happy with living there. The worst schools and NOTHING to do.

If I were you I would look at Gilbert, I think it's ideal for families. I live in SE Gilbert and LOVE it. We have tons of nice shopping, soccer complexes right here, wonderful parks and are right near the new 202. Lots of areas of Chandler are also great.

Where is "there"? Are you talking about Prescott Valley or are you talking about Superior, Florence, Coolidge, Globe, and San Carlos?
