Default Canadian looking for Vacation Home - Is Tucson the right place??? Any recommendations???

My partner and I are looking at buying a vacation home, this year, in or around Tucson. I am 40 years old and my partner 49. We were looking at copper crest community 55+, as we understand that they allow approximately 20 % owners under 55. I am wondering if someone could recommend a safe and quiet community or neighbourhood, close to different ammenities such as shopping, etc. Although we went to phoenix many times, know the area well and love it, we are thinking of Tucson. We would appreciate any recommendations or feedback on this. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Great question, Kabfon

You may want to add more details such as price range, size and amenities needed.

Although I'm a little older than you and eligible, I would prefer not to live in a 55 plus community but I may be in the minority.

My Patio Home is super convenient, quiet and safe but not perfect . . . WHAT IS?

Good Luck!

Default Safety is paramount

I guess, the reason why I am talking about a 55+ community is that I have this vision of a safer neigbourhood, which might be naive on my part.

Definitely not necessarily the case but I understand your thinking.

Come on down . . . sunny and in the high 80's today with "single digit" humidity.
