Reading the reviews, it seems like a hit and miss place.
I liked it.
Love the cafe beside it, just sit ouside drinking a coffee. Nice people who own the place.

I think Willcox is one town where sprawl has not made an inroad, you kind a go back 40 years. Hope it won't change.

I might have to try it again....the day I went the ribs...actually everything was dry....not too good. The week before we had went to Bobby Q's and it was excellent. So it was a hard comparison. Some of the folks around us ordered some things that looked pretty good tho.

I agree Wilcox is a neat little town....I have always liked it.

Real Joe's BBQ in Gilbert is one of my favs. I also really liked Big Dog BBQ in Flagstaff, but I drove by there the other day and it looks like it's closed down.

Rudy's, definitely! I like to drown it in sauce and their sweet corn is awesome! I lived in TX recently so I'm kind of spent on BBQ myself!

AAHHH... Texas.

I had the best BBQ ever in TX, and the potatoe salad at the same place was just something else.
Everything was superb. And it is in the middle of nowhere.
Vincek's Smokehouse

Rod's KC BBQ in Tucson was pretty good Q, along with Jack's when it was open (Jack Banks retired, sold it to someone else who kept the name, and it went downhill rapidly). Honey Bears in PHX was OK. While not in AZ, in Ruidoso there's a great place, Can't Stop Smokin, with TX-style BBQ, for AZ visitors. (I'm partial to Memphis style, though)

While I will agree that BBQ in Tucson is very limited, I have to say that I think Brushfire is completely overrated.
