Default Prescott VA Hosp

dear snowbum; yes I have extensive experience at the VA hosp. in Prescott. I have been going there for 8 yrs. now. I have been an established pt. in a clinic, been to/through the E.R. been an inpatient, and to various clinics, as well as labs, xray, ect. The staff is just wonderful. Always happy, kind, helpful. When my husband passed away at a young, untimely age, I had to put our home in cordes lakes for sale, and move in with my parents in Sun City due to my own poor health. The care I've received at the Prescott VA has been so good, that I continue to commute there, and refuse to go the the VA here in Phoenix which has a well deserved horrible reputation. I have been known to drive the 90 mile trip just for scheduled blood draws! I wont go any where else. There care is the best. Sincerely; Desertpine1

Dad has been there for about 4 or 5 months. He is happy with the care and treatment overall, but really just wants to go home. The big problem is if there is something major that needs done, you don't go to Phoenix. They send you to Tucson and that is a very long trip for a guy that had a stroke. The up side is they got all of the cancer that was in his ureter and bladder.
