Cool Austin vs Scottsdale (Phoenix area)

I'm trying to compare Austin vs Scottsdale (Phoenix area). I'm single and have a job opportunity in both cities. I've lived in Scottsdale for a year now and it's nice town but the people suck. Everyone seems fake. I came out here for a change from Houston. Just wondering if Scottsdale really this bad or if anyone ever had any good experiences here? I'm a sports nut, I even have season tickets to the Cardinals but is Austin that much better than Scottsdale? I'm leaning towards Austin because of the better people and I'll be close to family again.

Just wondering if anyone really liked Scottsdale or Phoenix area?

Sounds like you've already decided, Jcc.

Personally, I would choose Scottsdale mainly because if you think the people here "suck" . . . wait until you move to Austin.

Bottom line . . . there is no "perfect" place to live because "suck" people live everywhere.

Good Luck

I live in Phoenix I know what you mean alot of people are fake here in Phoenix and Scottsdale. I've never been to Austin, Texas area but I did take a trip to Dallas, Texas area three times this summer and I found people to be pretty friendly there in the Dallas area. So I would think the people in Austin would be friendly like they were in Dallas So if I were you I would choose Austin over Scottsdale
I want to move to Nashville Tennessee
