As many folks on this board well know, the Vail Unified School District has long been held in high regard in Arizona as a stellar place to send your kids to school, coming near to the very top (or at the very top) of the list of "Top School Districts" in Arizona for several years now.

Well, apparently over the past few years, the folks at the Vail School District have been "mentoring" the folks at the neighboring Benson School District - sharing "best practices" etc - with the goal of bringing the Benson School District up to the same sky-high level that the Vail School District has long-enjoyed - and now all that hard work and cooperation (as well as the generosity of the folk running the Vail School District) has REALLY paid off - as this year, Benson has just been named the #1 School District in the entire state, with Vail coming in a close #2.

So, Congratulations to the faculty and students at the Benson Unified School District, and congratulations - and a HUGE "thank you" to the folks running the awesome Vail Unified School District for both their own success over the years (as well as this year) and for their truly wonderful assistance in helping Benson achieve this honor - Benson truly could not have achieved this without that terrific help from what has long been regarded as a truly great school district.

That is great news and surely something to be proud of.

Now, in a few years some students might be running the town of Benson, which is right now the most corrupt in the entire state..... What is a shame, Benson is really one of my favorit towns, not to busy, not to quiet, enough stores, and right in the most beautiful part of Arizona.

Yeah, the Benson government definitely has it's share of "controversies" and "local politics".
And you are right about the rest of your post too.
