Los Lagos in Fort Mohave, AZ
I currently live in Southern California and considering moving to Arizona. I found a lovely little "lakefront" community called Los Lagos. Has anyone heard of any problems related to the resort?

Los Lagos is on the Southern Tip of Bullhead City. It's fairly new and very nicely kept. There is a new Super-Walmart, Home Depot and several restaurants in the immediate area. There are 3 man-made lakes there with homes surrounding all 3 of them.
The only thing that puts-off many people is the overall reputation of Bullhead City. It has long been known as the "dump" that the lower-paid Laughlin workers live in. They have been trying real hard for the past few years to clean it up, but the downtown area is still infested with meth-heads and other miscellanous low-lifes.
There is enough business in the Los Lagos area that you should never have to go downtown. Except to get across the bridge into Laughlin.
Hope this helps.

I sure get confused reading the above post, this sub divison is down in Mohave Valley, Home depot as I know it is up at the far North end of Bullhead.
Super wallmart is down by the college.

We live in Los Lagos. Beautiful place and a great community. I have a 20 month old and a medium sized dog and everyone enjoys living here. Pleae feel free to contact me direclty if you have any questions. Fresh water lakes, catch/release fishing. Gated community. Brand new golf course opened on our neighboring (Los Lagos Greens) property at the end of 2007.

Los Lagos is nice, but for the size of the lots.. VERY very small. No backyard
at all.. you have your back patio and then the water. The homes are very nice, lovely community, but they really packed'em in tight!

Bullhead City Resident / Realtor
I like Los Lagos. Nice and clean with community pool, clubhouse and gated. Close to shopping. If you are moving to the area then that community should stay on your list of choices.

Bullhead City Resident / Realtor
Looks like fees run somewhere between $91 - $96 a month. Every Realtor has a different amount displayed on the listings in there for some reason. I would suggest contacting the HOA for exact amount, the inclusions for the fees, financial reports and of course the amount of reserves.
I believe the company that manages the HOA there is Buck Reynolds. Steve Buck

I hope this helps out.
