Ohh...I see.

Excellent.

I hope people are reading this and knowing that with energy efficient construction and good conserving practices the bills don't have to be too bad here

You're right Candace. I take advantage of any cool weather that we get and open windows and doors. My home has an energy efficient A/C and good insulation.

To report bad behavior from MEC:

GCSECA -:- Members Directory

Mohave Electric Cooperative (Contact Us)

Robert Broz, CEO
Carlos Tejeda, Director

This is where you can contact the Board of Directors. Scroll down to Mohave Electric Cooperative and you will see contact info for the elected Board. Don't call CS; call or e-mail Admin. People are elected to the Board there every year/every other year. There is accountability.

A lot of people come here and do not like it. I'm from Los Angeles and it took acclimation for me too. The deposits have increased because many people just don't pay their bills and skip town. Their defaults make it harder on those who do pay. Power companies, like all businesses, need to be able to afford to run. Our cities swell to double+ their size half the year and it's taxing on even an efficiently run company.

Give me MEC over Pacific Bell any day! HAHAHA!
