Lightbulb Recycling

Why don't they recycle in Yuma Arizona? In San Diego CA the trash companies give you one big can for trash, then another small can for recyclable plastic bottles and cans, paper anything with the recycle triangle on it. With global warming coming on fast it really is a shame not to do something so easy as recycle.

We do recycle in Arizona, or at least we do in Scottsdale. We're given one big brown can for trash and an equally big pink can for recyclables. Both are provided by the City of Scottsdale. It must vary from city to city.

That's great, I'm glad it's not all of AZ that doesn't recycle. I can see I'm going to have to write my city officials. Thanks for the quick reply Alterego.

We used to live in Yuma and it's sad. I asked the trash company wht they don't recycle they toldme that there was not enough interest to do so. We used to take our cans to the ABC recycling place by te Burger King on 4th but they only took alumininm, brass and copper.

In Yuma, we lived in the foothills and the trash people came twice a week, if people were able to recycle then they wouldn't need to come twice a week.

Tucson recycles, but no plastics other than 1's and 2's. Where can you recycle the other types of plastic??
