Default Re-locating to N. Arizona with young family

Hi everyone! We're hoping to relocate to an area around north Arizona, maybe Pine-Top, Williams, Pine, Flagstaff, Sedona that kind of thing. We have two boys under the age of 6. We are looking for a half decent home with maybe an acre or 2 of land. I have worked in the water supply industry over here in jolly old England and that would be my 1st choice of work. Is there any kind of need for water distribution in this area?
Also some house price/rent figures would be useful!
Thank you.

These area's are differnt from one another. Williams is small, no meaningful shopping, west of Flag 30miles/50km, 70 miles south of the famous GRAND CANYON. Pine top is by Show Low, Show low has a home depot and a Wal-Mart for shopping. Pine Top I'm not sure of.
I loved Flagstaff when I was there. I am from the deserts of the southwest, so snow is fun to me. It's IN the mountians, pine trees..... There are people from the northeast coast that hate the snow and would have nothing to do with it. Flagstaff is beautiful. It's a fairly big town/city. It is a college town. It's up beat. Growth is somewhat limited, I don't recall why. You probably won't get 1 or two acres, I believe most lots are city type lots. You see a lot of people want to live there, so lots are small. Sedona is a tourist town, for a reason, it has breath taking rock formations all over. It is not like Flagstaff, few pine trees.
What do you mean you are in water distribution. Do you work for bottled water company deliverying water, or what. You test water, you drill for water,.......?

Hope this was a help.

Smaller towns in AZ unlike other states are more expensive than Phoenix. Harder to get a job equivalent to what you'd pay to live there. Unless your coming with an extra amount of cash to put down, it's hard to afford. Mostly CA. residents who sold for a lot and can buy in cash or put down 1/2 on it to make it affordable.
