That could cover a lot of ground. Some out there is wide open prairie with prairie dogs everywhere. Some have no wind break. Some areas are in the rolling hills.
Hard to say without you actually coming out and looking for your self.
If you are talking Bridge canyon estates do a search and locate the most info you might ever need. It will clear things out west there pretty good.

Hello jeremt. BAD idea if you are considering the Bridge Canyon Estates area for lots of reasons.
As for who is.. or WAS handling the area in Real Estate was Tacoma (or Tahoma) Holdings, Inc but the area has been through so many 'hands' over the last few years its uncertain whose trying to sell it now. Lots of people are moving out of that area and selling for lots of reasons.

You can get more information at both of the following forum threads on this site:

http://www.city-data.com/forum/arizo...gman-ct-9.html and:

http://www.city-data.com/forum/arizo...gman-az-3.html

Both of these threads relate to Bridge Canyon Estates and the general Seligman area.

If you are considering further west towards Peach Springs there is another large subdevelopment there called "Hyde Park" aka Antelope Hills which has power and phone throughout much of the area but no water. People have said thats a much better area than Bridge Canyon Estates. The zoning isnt as bad and people that live there stay to themselves. That just might be the area you may want to check out. :-)
Most of the area(not all) between Bridge Canyon Estates (MM 145) just west of Seligman to the Hyde Park Rd milemarker off Rt 66 (MM 117) is either railroad property or private ranch area and you cannot buy on that.

Good Luck. :-)

Default I own land in Ashfork, AZ

I'm a Realtor in Prescott, and actually own 10 acres just south of 1-40 near Ashfork. The land in that area is very scenic with great views and gentle terrain. There are some good buys are parcels from Ashfork and West to Seligman. They are usually 10 acre minimums. The farther towars Seligman you go, the more steep the terrain becomes. Well depths in those area can be 700-1000 feet, and that is why most people that build there use "hauled" water. Depending on what you need the water for (livestock etc.) You may need a 2500 gal tank, which is usually buried in the ground. Moderator cut: no solicitation
