We are moving from Minnesota ..I looked at these towns based mostly on comments from this site..the weather in Arizona draws us.town size is important to. Small town all the way

Winters here are brutal ..cars froze water froze getting to work takes an act of bravery sometimes i don't have with the icy snow covered roads lol..we enjoy being outside without the fear of freezing ..

Yeah, I understand the sentiment, I used to live in eastern North Dakota. You certainly don't have to worry too much about winter weather here. It does get "chilly" at night (and sometimes just plain cold) but the days almost always warm up nicely. It varies of course from day to day and year to year. Last year we had (for us) a pretty rough winter and it got to down to 10 degrees or so overnight a couple of times (and we even got a 4 inch snowfall here in Benson in February - though it didn't stick to the roads and was entirely gone by 10 am or so). This year though we've been very mild indeed. It's gotten chilly quite a few times overnight, but the daytime temps (especially this month) have been quite nice - we're probably looking at somewhere between 15-20 days with the high at 70 or more by the time the month is done. On the down side, it's been drier than normal this winter (and we can really use the rain).
