A foreigner marrying under false pretentions is illegal. You have to give the person credit for ingenuity.

It sounds like he should be the one paying to get married. I like that he leaves it open for the "relative of your choice". Hahaha!!! That's awesome!!

Well, the ad might be placed all over the world... I don't know. It certainly beats ME why a Japanese would like to come here, but good luck to the seller!

I also haven't been on the husband market lately, maybe $595 K is a bargain for a house and a desperate man.

I can't say I know Mesa well, but from what I've seen and heard, 595K in Mesa doesn't sound like any bargain to me! He should've posted a picture of himself, provided it can add to the appeal of the house...

Wow either someone is very, very desperate or very stupid to think someone from overseas is going to jump on this deal without a backup plan. A friend of my old boss did just that, he bought a Philipino bride. Within a year, he had nothing. She learned all the legalities, falsly accused him of beating her, she divorced him AND got the grand prize as well. He got a rep as a wife beater, an arrest record and was never known to even hurt a fly!
One word for people, if they feel they absolutely HAVE to marry out of desperation like that: PRENUPTS!!!!
