Hi. We're making our cross country trip from CA to VA, via I40. We'll probably stop in Flagstaff or somewhere shortly off the highway along the way. We're traveling with our two year old son. We're looking for fun Christmas themed places as well as parks and fun things for toddlers. We know about the Children's Museum. Are there any cool neighborhoods with great Christmas displays? Any must sees for Christmas and/or for toddlers in general? Thanks so much for any advice.

Williams has the Polar Express. You can Google it. It requires tickets and the package deals (train plus hotel) are probably sold out. However, you might be able to buy tickets for the train ride alone. It's close enough that you can stay at a hotel in Flag, which I recommend as the Williams options aren't terribly appealing.
I've also heard there's some kind of gingerbread house display up that way - maybe around Prescott? Maybe someone else knows. Are you guys moving to VA? We drove from VA when we moved out here. That's a loooong drive, especially with a toddler. Hope it goes smoothly! |

Little America in Flagstaff has lights all over the property and it is very clean and family friendly.
