I’m considering Frontier Communications internet service in Lake Havasu.

The basic service says the speed is 6 Mbps which I believe is fast enough to watch Netflix movies.

Any comments on how this works in Lake Havasu? Reliable, do you get the speeds advertised?

I beleive this is a wireless service? Ie, no cable to the house, doesnt use the phone line,.

I think Frontier is wired. We cancelled it along with phone a few years back as Suddenlink offered faster cable for less money. I hear there is now good wireless internet in Havasu, but don't know the details. We had bad wireless many years ago, that cut out all the time and very erratic. I have heard the new one here works fine.

Thank you for the info! It is bundling that also makes it complicated for me since I dont want the video or telephone service. I have an off air antenna that picks up a bunch of free digital TV service from some source looking towards Kingman and its plenty. Previous owner of the house had an off air antenna on a mast above the roof - looks a little funny but it works well. Frontier web site claims 6 Mbs but when I called them, I got someone is SLC Utah so Im not sure how accurate the 6 Mbs is. But.. looks like Ill probably find out.

As I recall I got 3mbs from Frontier, with phone it was $85 or so a mo. Suddenlink internet only as I recall is 13mbs and $38. We use magic jack for our land line. I think $45/yr.
