I'd say the Desert Hills area (North of Carefree Highway and South of Anthem) in Phoenix sounds like a good fit for you. Close enough to Cave Creek and civilization but far enough to have some quiet.

You should live in Yuma, or maybe Show Low. Of course Havassu has a lake, but wait, you might prefer the snow country around Flag, but not too far from Phoenix, so that puts you in Prescutt. But then that's where all the refugees from Milwalkee live. So probably you should move to Tuscon, or maybe back down around Bisbee.
