I lived in Flagstaff for five years. It was one of those cities that was big enough, yet still had somewhat of a small town feel. So much of the city is buried in the pine trees, you really don't realize just how big the city really is. The city offers just about everything you'd ever need (tons of restaurants, a Harkins theater, mall, fishing on the lakes, etc.) We liked all festivals and family activities, but some of the people can be pretty crunch granola. The winters can be tough, with some winter storms that shut down the whole city for a day or two. The summers make it all worth it.

I've considered moving there not too long ago, but the job market there kind of scares me.
