BEWARE if you live in Bullhead City, AZ. There is a LEMON THIEF amongst us. A woman came by two weeks ago and wanted to buy my lemons. I told her no that this was the first time in two years I had lemons since I lost all to the freeze last year. I only have one tree and I usually get about 30 to 40 lemons a year due to losing flowers because of the winds. Even if I had 1000 lemons the THIEF had no business coming onto my property and STEALING MY LEMONS. I give some to my family and I use the rest. Last week a woman was seen in my yard taking all my lemons. I have about 5 lemons left. Yes, I am PISSED. She better hope I don't catch her. I remember what the woman looks like that wanted to buy them. How FRICKING RUDE to come into my yard and STEAL ALL my lemons. My tree only bares lemons once a year. Now I have to wait until next year. I hope the THIEF has a PC and sees this post. I will post signs up in BULLHEAD CITY to let others know to guard their lemons.

That's crazy!! I can't believe the nerve of some people. We used to have sunflowers lining our yard when we lived in MD. It amazed me how many people would just stop, cut some and take them. And when you cut one flower, the whole stalk wilts. I can't imagine how PO'ed I'd be if it was something that I could actually use, like lemons.

Send a letter to the editor in the Mohave Valley Daily News. When life gives you lemons, don't let a thief steal them!

If it ever happens again, call the police (or sheriff) and remember, video is your friend. Capture the thief-from a safe distance, confrontations can be dangerous or deadly-and the vehicle and license plate on tape. If you want to avoid the defense of "they said I could", post a small "no trespassing" sign on the tree/s and be sure to give a verbal order to the thief such as "get out of my yard" or "get away from my tree" during this taping. I hope you get some justice.
