Still scary anyway since it's looking like Bullhead's commercial vacancy rate's about 20 percent going by all the empty stores.
Hi Packard,
I'm not sure of the percentage, but you are probably close. I did a physical count a few months ago which I presented at a City Council meeting. I came up with 159 empty storefronts/properties - just on 95, Hancock and Marina. I'd estimate the city wide total at around 200. Which is a huge number for a town this size.

As for China Buffet, aw shucks, I guess we won't get to enjoy any more lukewarm fish, sauteed in diarrhea sauce.

I can't find anything on China Buffet in the Mohave County health website but other Chinese food places here still in business ARE listed and, got clean bills of health.

Avi always had a nice Buffet when we stopped there.

^^^ LOL - Avi fan club.

I had their buffet once, it was pretty good. I just don't get over there much, plus they won't let you bring your six gun onto the res so I lose my money elsewhere.

PF, I was (sort of) joking about the fish.

Our hang out for dinner is DeAngelo's. Try their "Mud Slide," it's like a milk shake that gets you drunk! I've never tried 310 Grill, one look at the menu prices sent my pacemaker into shock.

Sushi place: beats me what's going on since they were open today. I know they're closed on Mondays but it was Sunday well before closing time when I saw the front door chained up.

^^^ I don't know, but we were just up in Pahrump, Nv for a few days. They have a great new China Buffet, clean good food, sushi. If BHC had one like this... well I'd gain another 100 lbs. Sigh.

310 is owned by my former boss (we were both fired from Avi in 2008 for no good reason (sorry Hawk - I'm not an Avi fan anymore). Prices might be high compared to the food mill that casinos have - but it's totally well worth it.

That's ok Chaindrive. I wouldn't be happy with them either, if they fired me.
