My family just moved to Safford from Maricopa...originally from Yuma. We are used to the heat. Lol. It's really cold here in the mornings! Does it get any colder here? And does it snow? I'm not used to 30 degree weather. It's really really beautiful here, btw!

Since this is only November, I'd say it's safe to assume it will get colder. saffordpastor will be along shortly. He's very helpful about Safford, etc.

It does get colder...sometimes quite a bit. But overall pretty moderate. Last winter was extremely mild, but I have been though a few that were just a tad nippy, if you get my drift.

As far as snow...sometimes. In 2007 we had 13 inches that stayed on for almost a week...that was overdoing it in my opinion, but typically we might have a dusting up to 2-5 inches. ('67 had a snow so heavy it collapsed roofs...2-3 feet or so...Morenci had 4 ft that time)

I have seen it not snow for a couple of years and then snow several times in a winter....we will see.

And 30 is a little chilly...especially when you have a broken water pipe.. (pretty sure it was not because of the cold....just decided to pull apart last night) and you spend all day laying on cold wet ground trying to fix it. After it was done....it was dark by then, that hot shower felt like Heaven.

Glad you like it here...it really is a beautiful place.

Thanks so much for the info. I would really like to see snow. We have never seen it or touched it. Lol. I would love to just see it fall from the sky. I hope it does snow..even if it's just a little bit! I absolutely love it here.

Give it a little time and a short drive up Mt Graham will get you all the snow you want.
