Kingman is 3,500 ft. alot of people here on oxygen. Not a good choice, air to dirty, windy, dusty.

Elevation is important but remember, Phoenix has REALLY bad ratings when it comes to the American Lung Association. The dusty, sandy air, combines with pollution, is NOT good.

I have similar medical problems. Phoenix area runs from 800 to 2500 ft. area includes approx. 20 different communities. Medical treatment in Phoenix is just as good as rochester if not better. Dr.s go back and forth to each. Although they tell me the list is longer waiting to get here. Climate is dry and our outlying areas are usually clear of any smog. We've enjoyed it for 20yrs. and wonder why we weren't smart enough to move here earlier. Hope this helps. If you come down let me know and I'll be glad to assost.

Phoenix can get some bed overcast. The western part of the valley seldom has problems. If it has to be absolutely perfect I suggest the mothers womb.

Green Valley. Way nicer than Casa Bland.

Also, don't forget that Hot Dry Air is considerably less dense than cooler moist air. That can make a big difference. Some need moisture added to their oxygen supply when in this type of climate. Be sure to check it out with your Doc and a trip out in the July/August time frame.
Hope you find the perfect spot. Slim |

Why not look into Green Valley - it's at 3,000, has a small town atmosphere and is only 20 miles south of Tucson. It's Green with Pecan tree orchards. Just enough shopping and eating places but not overcrowded.
