FACT – Terribly untrue. The North fought the war over money. Plain and simple. When the South started Secession, Lincoln was asked, “Why not let the South go in peace?” To which he replied, “I can’t let them go. Who would pay for the government?” Sensing total financial ruin for the North, Lincoln waged war on the South. The South fought the War to repel Northern aggression and invasion.

If thats true, then why was the CSA fighting so feverishly to expand their slave state status into free states? Why was slavery one of the reasons for South Carolina's reasons for seceding? Read their declaration if you dont believe me. Dont give me that "states rights" crap, they specifically state slave ownership in their secession declaration. States rights? Pfft. I guess their "right" to own people trumped slaves' right to freedom?

Ok, I was refraining but this is for Mouser. The mental gymnastics that one has to buy into in order to believe that load of hooey is prodigious.

The only flag that really mattered in the civil war

Jus' wondering. If that crazy loon that shot those 9 people had one of the Rainbow flags, would there be as muich of a ruckus? Or would it all be swept under the rug. I think I know what the answer is.

Well, considering that the history of gay on black violence is pretty minimal I'd say you're right.

Apparently I DID miss that.

Did some research.

AZ was briefly part of the confederacy until some soldiers from CA pushed the confederate garrison out in the "Battle of Picacho Peak."

Well yeeehaww Y'all - southern Arizona shall rise again!

Now we know why Kurt Douglas had a suthern accent in the movie "Tombstone.".
I always thought Arizona was trying too hard to be like the south, this confirms it.

Nope.

We ran all of them southerners out of Arizona when the Union won the War. Now we're the Wild West.

Kinda odd considering he lives in a town that seceded from the Union during the war.

I've always thought the confederate flag, to be the flag of Loosers.
