Just closed on a parcel south of I-40 in Juniper Woods, about 8m SW of Ash Fork. So, what have I got myself into? Abjectly rural north/central AZ. Love. Water? Need some. Power? Would be nice. APS is "HimHawwing". We'll see where we land on grid power. Bout a quarter mile from the black strings.

A well? OMFNG!!!! Navy/Marine Corps downed aircraft remote survival training: Maintain personal safety, (enemies shooting at you -escape and evade) breathable air, breathing and internal circulation (first aid) is first priority. Potable water source is second priority. Food is third. Shelter is fourth. Clothing is fifth. They all kinda run together but their main point was you can go about 21 days without food but only about three or so without water. Less in high heat & low humidity climates. Low heat is really nice. Low humidity really nice. So . . . where's the waterboy around Ash Fork? A $60K-$70K well just isn't quite in my immediate budget; yet all my military survival training says the waterboy is 7 times more important at the table than the chef. So; who are the hauled water hook-ups in the area? Google, Yahoo and Bing are being useless about it. Who do you get a tank from and who do you get to haul the H2O?
Thanks.
Stan

I dunno....but a google search on Ash Fork Water turned this up, and a similar search within the AZ forum turned up 2 pages of threads....maybe there is something of value there.

Ash Fork isn't known for its sophistication.

search the forum there's a whole thread on the water hauling. There are companies that will do it for you or you can go into town and do it yourself.
