My Girlfriend went to school in Lake Havasu and I loved it. I am from Kingman and I had lived there for about 18 years. Kingman is a great town to live, work and raise kids in. Dont listen to anyone that says otherwise.

Thanks for the reply, I have 4 kids but only two in school my oldest will be in 7th and the younger in 5th. I was wondering how are the people and the kids, is the education system good? I did some research and the school (Mohave Valley Elementary School) they had really bad ratings 2 out of 10! Kind of scary. I also I here the drugs are starting to be an issue at the nearby city of Bullhead, I realize there are drugs and violence everywhere, I just don't want to move to a smaller town where it's harder to get away from it.

I would really like to see any information on BHC area schools! I am interviewing at the Hospital in the next couple weeks. How are the sports programs in the schools and community? We have two young girls 4 and 12.

Thumbs up Local Resident / Realtor

I live in Bullhead city. My nephew just graduated Mohave High School a year early and has a full scholarship to a college in Arizona. Plus the areas job market is starting to expand with the first of many large corporations investing in the area. Not to mention the a lot of name brand stores coming to the area over the last couple of years. The real estate market is starting to move again here. I like it here.
