Three of us transferred MN D.L.s to AZ last Friday. Took passports, current MN D.L.s, Social Security cards and for two of us benefit letters showing new AZ address. Walked into a 3rd party office in Avondale at 1:30pm. Went right to counter with zero wait. It did take us about 90 minutes to complete the process of getting the enhanced D.L.s. Mainly because we had to wait for someone to return to a state office to receive a phone call inquiring about certain documents we had. The office manager was helping us and was very friendly. We paid $30 per license as an additional fee for 3rd party. Total cost for all three enhanced was $165. During our 90 minute visit there was a constant stream of people coming in but not a single one had to wait. There were approximately 6 people working behind the counter helping people.

We did not transfer vehicle title as our car is not in AZ yet.

Just an update to an earlier post---I was able to go to the DMV office and get new license. Took required ID, took vision test, paid the fee, new photo, and I'm all set. They were very nice to me! I am extremely relieved to be "legal" again, LOL!
