So I will be starting a new job in Phoenix on the 25th and begin living down there on the 24th.

For about a month I will be staying in an extended stay hotel until I close on a house in May. I am from Indiana, and reading all of the laws regarding registration and drivers licenses it looks like they give you a whopping 10 days to get everything switched to AZ.

They have 90 day temp registrations for cars that I am going to do, but what about licenses? It would be silly to have to go get a license and then get another 3 weeks later when my address changes from a hotel to my permanent address.

I thought you had 30 days. After that an address change is $10-$20, but its not like they need proof or anything.. If you just do it after you get to your new place, its not like anyone is going to know, unless you get pulled over and volunteer that information to the police.

You don't have to get "another license", you just report the change of address.

Then pay to get a new license with your permanent address

If it really is only a month you should be fine to wait until you are in your home, would take a string of bad luck and circumstances to go otherwise
