Clarification: rodents

The first cold night of my first year, one of the cute little suckers danced across the living room floor until I was able to adjust his hat size with the fireplace shovel. For weeks after, my gated off kitchen (protecting my small musophobic dog) sounded like the 4th of July every night as his cousins ventured in for their peanut butter fix and neck massage. I finally found the hole in the crawlspace entry they ate through, but there were still mice in kitchen ceiling when I left.

Now, one animal you left off your list was the horrible smelling Javelina. Those suckers could be smelled 10 minutes before they arrived and every local I spoke to had at least one story of there brutality (dogs and old ladies seemed to be their favorite targets).

I haven't seen a javelina yet. Pictures, but not the animal. My neighbor said they are around but...

Actually, just seeing the pictures is fine with me. Not real anxious to make their acquaintance.

Javelinas are just a bunch of happy-go-lucky wild boars which have been roaming all over the Americas, ever since they escaped from European settlers! Their close cousins are the Arkansas Razorbacks... Soooweee!

Truth be told, all they really want is to be left alone to forage and mate. Contrary to popular belief, they'd prefer not to sit down and enjoy a cup of Java with us!

Haha, for sure! We see them around our house and they are fun to watch. Luckily, they are on the other side of the fence, no time for java!

I ran into a bunch (herd?) of them on a morning walk one day. They had a young one with them, so I made sure to give them plenty of space.

Snowbirds make Arizona suck. It is the worst place for white caps!! They run over everyone else! The 6 month renters here and the people who are WA state area also suck. Liberal scumbags coming down to AZ to soak up the sun, then blame the state for being ill run! I lived in Washington State for over 12 years, the people up there are so stuck up, mostly Californians who think they "know everything".

Everyone has a right to life, Arizona is hotter than heck, if you don't like it, don't come here. As for your nastiness, other states are just as bad and have worse ways of handling people on welfare.

Great - now they found a drug tunnel underneath a closed kfc. I don't know how to attach an article but it's on msn, CBS channel. San Luis police pulled the owner of the building over & dogs alerted to drugs, which were found in the vehicle.

One more reason Arizona is such a terrible place.
