Phoenix is totally out for me as is Flagstaff (too much snow). Still contemplating Sierra Vista, Green Valley, or Sahuarita.

Yes, the comfort index is better in Phoenix. I use Sperling's all the time to see about climate, etc.

Thank you.

Thank you.
You do know that this information is also available on C-D, don't you? I used the C-D data to narrow down my choices by looking at the climate, rent / housing costs, and crime rates.

Oh yes! I use more sites checking things out than I care to mention.

Man i loved AZ when i lived there early 90's. born and bred in NJ,my whole family just picked up and left NJ for AZ was sick of jersey back then even, returned to Jersey the year 2000 as my husbands mothers health was failing rapidly and she needed help, left my side of family there in AZ,my family moved back not to much longer after us,my mom missed us.. years later i always said when my kids were grown and out of the house im moving back. well here it is my oldest is 28 youngest 20, 28 year old is on her own,i'll never get rid of the 20 year old,and im still here in Jersey with below freezing temps and a snowstorm on the way..one day i'll be back i just have to really want it and just do it. but im looking for acreage and privacy in northern AZ...

I think after this winter we better think fast & furious before people start reevaluating Arizona.

Quick; the bugs, in particular scorpions (I think I saw one once), the coyotes - now those I have heard, although not seen, the HEAT...that should scare them off!

We've got to stop the migration before it starts. After all, Arizona IS a terrible place to live.

It hasn't rained here since LBJ was President.

Not to mention that everyone here is a bottom feeding, ultra conservative redneck who only drive lifted pick 'em up trucks and have random shootouts daily. There are no good paying jobs and your kids won't get an education, leaving them to only be qualified to work fast food for the rest of their lives.
