Florence is nearly a dead zone presently.

Lot's of foreclosures. Many empty homes. Lot's for rent.

No jobs other than the prison. It's a drive to get to Casa Grande or Phoenix/Mesa.

Anthem is way out of town closer to Queen Creek. And Queen Creek has a lot of empty homes.

The "yard police" are out there in every community. So if you are a 'junk' collector - forget this area.

Move to Oracle or San Manuel or some out of the way place.

Florence is the capital city for the county. That is one reason they watch you and your yard closely.

Default Del Webb in Florence
Does anyone have info on the retirement community? Just even general info - like is it in a nice area? Are there any prisons near it? is it well kept? anything will help

so is del webb still a nice place to live and how far is the town? and, are there stores, shopping centers, hospital??? thanks.

All Del Webb communities are nice. This one is nice. Located about 7 miles out of Florence City center - with desert in between. This Del Webb community is divided into section with a age restricted part out back. Beautiful golf course and recreation centers. Further out from Florence is Johnson Ranch communities near/in Queen Creek. There is shopping.

Traffic will be a problem some day as there is only one main road. Others are planned but unknown when they will be constructed.
