I believe there's a bill working its way to the governor now that will abolish the licensing requirement for CCW. It'll still be available for folks who want to CCW in states that recognize AZ's permit. But a permit would no longer be necessary for AZ residents who are non-prohibited possessors. I usually keep mine in my driver's door pocket when in the car.

Are you joking? Just buy what you want and behave with it. If you're not a prohibited possessor, you can own anything in AZ that you're can own under federal law. No state law overrides federal law, so don't go making homemade suppressors or full-auto conversions without your tax stamp. Otherwise, you can do what you want. AZ actually respects the Constitution.
