Welcome. There are several threads on BHC if you do a search. They are fairly recent. Nothing has changed, except traffic is a bit heavier and the walls for the new WalMart are up.

I must be honest and admit that I live there. Could be worse though. I could live in Phoenix.

In general yes. But long term not sure. The area is so dependent on water, and if gas prices go up the economy crashes here. Real estate is lagging behind other parts of AZ, and NV and CA. While other places are back to or above previous peaks, we are still about 50-60% in most areas.

We are not making any more investments here and plan to relocate at least during the hot months somewhere more temperate in the next couple of years. We have been looking for places for two years, but have not found it yet.

Yes Yuma, that's right at the top of the list. Just behind Ajo. (Google it. LOL) Or maybe Bakersfield.

Actually we are kind of thinking Aspen. 74 degrees, in July.

Very accurate. Laughlin or Kingman much better alternatives IMO
