Took some of the monsoons and sunsets with my camera phone. Some are blurry, but still pretty.

Yes it is ....that is what is called locally the arrow tree...if you look real close you can see dozens of arrows that bowhunters have shot into it on the way down from the hunt.

Great thread!
Here's a shot of a looming storm, just outside of Casa Grande. Yes, it does sometimes only rain in just a few small areas at a time. Almost looks like a mini tornado!
And here's a shot of a looming dust storm. Trying to describe a "Giant wall of dust" in words just doesn't do justice!
And of course, a BAD day on the 347 from Chandler into Maricopa!

Try Flagstaff. The Aspens turn bright yellow in fall. Better yet, head into Colorado, its gorgeous in fall with all the Aspens, etc, changing colors.

My grandma use to live in bullhead city arizona unfortunely we went up there for my grandpas funaral this was about 20 years ago.thats was the only time we were able to go up there .
