Default Arizona

I have lived all over Arizona, and I have to say that I really do love the state of arizona even though we have the lowest wages, highest insurance, highest cost of living, and some of the highest crimes. It is great that I can be in phoenix and then 2 hours north I am in pine country. Very diverse. It's great to visit other states but I don't think that I am a lifer here. I used to live in California and I always regret having to go back to visit family.

Very nice post, David.

Not a native but I agree 100% except for the cost of living part.

Sweet sentiments, but AZ does lead or trail in any of the areas you mentioned.

I must disagree with the cost of living part. We came from CA a few years ago and the COL is far higher there and crime in LA can hold its own against just about any big city. Our medical insurance is $200 a month less here than in CA, property taxes are $1,000 a year less than CA. Gas is still cheaper here than there.
