The OP evidently does not live in Tucson. Traffic is nuts! Water and sewer costs a fortune. IM experience, real estate is way overpriced and residential lots are small. Big money for bigger lots. As for gun totin', you best be careful of carrying a firearm on the various Indian reservations. They make their own rules and they are not uniform. Politics varies by districts and cities. Tucson is Detroit in the making. Trashy areas, liberal politics. Shaky school system. My congressman is a socialist.

No BY George, I do not live in Tucson but if it is that bad for you, why not move to the Phoenix area? or to another state. I would.

If you're cool with "the desert" terrain and look, then you should be happy (provided you can find good employment).

Scottsdale is nice...but, its still hot-hot-hot weather. Its still hot out there...lol

Business enterprise. Relocation on the list of things to do.

I believe in telling the truth to folks who are considering moving to AZ. AZ has some really good qualities, but it also has some issues that are not going to get better soon, at least in Tucson. There are not enough conservatives here. I think the GOP might lose McSally seat next time around.

I like Phoenix.

Auters: I wholeheartedly agree. Unfortunately, too many people don't want Arizona, or any other place on Earth to be anything which would interfere with their world. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. It's not that Christianity (or Arizona) isn't right. It's that there will always be people who will never accept it. (Matthew 7:13-14 ESV)

The non-believers seem to have a need to attack. Although, admittedly, some believers give them a reason by trying to convert them. Personally, I believe everyone has a right to decide for themselves.

I once worked with a guy who went on a rampage one day at work about those "psycho dangerous Christians". I calmly asked him if they are so dangerous, and you had to chose, would you rather have a Christian move in next door to you, or a drug dealer. He chose the drug dealer! Sorry, but regardless of your religious bend, that defies logic!

You mean #10 is a great point, not just a good one.

Agreed.

If anyone has ever driven in other major cities on the East Coast or California they would appreciate the roads here. I forgot to mention we have no toll roads here in AZ all our roads are free some states charge a fortune in tolls to drive on crappy roads.

You mean they're free for now. Hate to bust your bubble, but they are definitely talking about it!
