A couple questions??

What are the requirements for leaving one state and coming to Arizona as a teacher?

Are there many CPAs needed?

Looking for a nice high end area to live with good schools.

google arizona certification requirements. i found a lot of information online when i was considering teaching in another state. you'll probably have to take the praxis tests but check into reciprocity. with nclb i believe you can no longer teach for a grace period while you get certified, but you should look into that as well.

Talking Teacher Certification

I was just hired to teach in Maricopa and now I am working on getting my certification. I am currently certified in Illinois. There is a reciprocity certification. Your first step is to get a fingerprint card from the Arizona Department of Public safty. Here is the link to do that...

After you recieve your fingerprint card you fill out the application for a temporary certificate. Here is the link...

You will be able to teach for one year with this certificate. In that time you have to take three classes. Arizona constitution, US constitution and an English as a Second Language class. I have been looking into the University of Phoenix online program and they have all three classes and they are very short. I am not sure about them yet because I have just started my research, but here is the link for that...

I have spoke with admisions and they told me to check with the Arizona Department of Education to make sure their classes will work, but they were pretty sure they do. I haven't done that yet, so just make sure you do before you sign up and pay for anything.

Hope this helps
