That's great. McSally would then run in 20 right? That would mean by Jan 2021 she would have been campaigning for 3 years straight. Then she'd be right back at it for 2022. I'd friggin shoot myself.

Who will she be accusing of supporting child prostitution in 2020?

I'm betting that Ducey has his eye on that seat for 2020.

If this hypothetical comes to fruition (if she loses this, I could definitely see it happening), she will be campaigning for the next 5 years (different from regular incumbent campaigning). By the end of that much campaigning .......

Very reasonable solution to the latest challenge, imo.

Instead of restricting counties that are calling to verify signatures, they opened it up for counties that had set these aside without trying to be verify.

This was an agreed compromise between the impacted counties and both parties.

They also set a stop date of 11/14 as it pertains to attempts to verify.

In Maricopa the voting instructions tell you to give a phone number for this very reason - shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Note that ballots without any signature cannot count and are discarded.

This seems reasonable.

For those outside of AZ, the main comparison point for signatures in AZ would be your driver's license.

Our drivers licenses expire at age 65. So you could be voting to match a signature you had 40 years ago.

There are also health issues that can cause problems, ink does smudge, there signature is on the exterior of the envelope where it can pick up grime from the journey, etc

Glad they figured it out without drama - although the partisan national hysteria will continue to be irresponsible

I thought the new Real ID AZ Driver's License had a 4 year expiration date instead of when you turn 65?

My idea of IDing mail ins when they drop off is only partly serious and would be a deterrent to hand delivering a mail in. It would probably never be possible to implement.
Again, other states seem to manage this just fine. Why does it take Arizona days longer?

I would shoot myself too. God no.

They may - I don't have one though and neither does anyone I know

Even now residents don't have to get that version
