As far as I'm concerned, no daylight savings time in AZ is one of the good reasons tempting me to relocate to AZ.

As far as the Navajos being on DST, I had to laugh. Anybody who has spent much time on the rez (me) knows that the Navajos run on Indian time!

Thanks Bummer. Just to elaborate, how many Native Americans have 8-5 jobs? Certainly more than a few, but I bet most could care less about White man's time, particularly farmers and ranchers. I suspect most of the CD members are not Native Americans, so whatever time they use on the rez isn't going to make much difference to us since we are unlikely to work there and almost certainly won't be living there. My point is that whatever time they use on the rez is irrelevant to whether or not AZ changes to daylight savings time.

What I haven't seen posted in this discussion is a good reason for AZ to adopt DST. Somebody please give one good reason. (The other 48 states doing it is not a sufficiently good reason IMO.)

Gas prices are rising so now all 48 states are saving 9 months of energy. Both Arizona and Hawaii are wasting 9 months of energy.

The price of gas is not impacted one way or the other by DST

Gas price are affecting both Arizona and Hawaii because other energy resources cost will go up as well because 2 states don't realize daylight savings does make difference.
