I suffer from chronic migraines and my doctor suggested Arizona as a good climate for this condition. I currently live in the Prescott Valley-Prescott area but the climate has too much variation and my migraines have not reduced in number or severity. A doctor here said that living in the valley would help but I was worried about the monsoons because weather is a trigger for my migraines. Are there any recommendations of Arizona cities that would help with my condition?

It sounds like you need a dry desert without a monsoon season. Las Vegas doesn't get monsoons like Phoenix and New Mexico do (Vegas is half the precipitation of Phoenix/Tucson). You can try closer to Bullhead City but the further inland you go from the Gulf of California the less likely you'll have a monsoon. The Mojave is DRY as bones and the Sonora not as much so. If this is a real important issue, Nevada or Utah might be better.

Migraines are well known for being triggered by barometric pressure changes. Here's is a list of the cities in the US and their associated number of days with barometric changes. The lower the number/percentage, the less changes = less migraines. We are moving from Oregon, where we retired, to southern California primarily so I will endure less migraines.
According to this, if you wished to remain in Arizona, Tuscon would be your best bet.

Here's a global map of barometric changes.

The numbers are so close tho, that I'd go with Yuma over Tucson. Much drier. The further west you get, the less chance of monsoon-related weather. I lived for a few years in Palm Springs and the monsoon almost never made it that far, but I left SoCal because of migraines... related to the cost of living!
