For future relocation, I am a single 38 yr old male. Tired of the north and the attitudes from East to West. I am a born bred Boston area native who has experienced Portland and northern influenced South Florida. Where costs are prone to going through the roof because of demands by the new residents or people will move often to areas, buy mcmansions and don't buy a house matching the old ones they had. Cliquish attitudes and so forth. This is from New England to the Pacific NW and then to South FL and I suspect Minneapolis and Chicago area too to name some of the big ones.

To me this is about North and South. Not only is it the stuff I addressed above, its my need to also want to be somewhere warmer.

Have some people lived in both Arizona and other deep south states like Alabama, Georgia, North Florida? disregarding South FL unless maybe Tampa gets an honorary mention or something, maybe Orlando but anything below that, no.

I am not getting any younger and am looking for a last chance to try to save my life because its not getting better in the north for me at all. My family is coming apart.

So is there anywhere in Arizona good for a lower income person to start over again? Someone with a disability but also doesn't demand a ton of disability services or has been places supposedly where these services were, but still got nowhere since cost of living was too high and so forth and with liberal politics dominating the place.

I have Arizona on my list, Possibly Las Vegas area and then Texas in certain areas for the west. I am looking at Alabama as well. Jacksonville FL area possibly too.

I can’t speak to the rest of the state, but Phoenix isn’t a good place to be poor. Housing isn’t cheap and utilities are high.

Ok Phoenix directly I probably couldn't do. I'll start there and then people can make their replies accordingly but ya, Phoenix out of reach more than likely. Mesa? I know Scottsdale is expensive. I might also be looking to boondock or live out of an RV where I can park it full time. I don't own one YET but I may RV, drive around and then pick the final stop also, I just don't fully know yet where its going to be. I might have to do Texas or Alabama as Arizona might be getting priced so far out where you'll have to be far from things. Not sure but TY for your input. Phoenix I suspected for awhile itself would more than likely be out. And the whole Sheriff Joe stuff too I also thought about, the tension. I don't think I'd like Tucson either and hear it votes blue for the most part.

Look into Cottonwood or the Verde Valley area.

If you want warm year round, with no snow, South FL / PHX / SoCal / Hawaii are your only choices
