Red face Ant vortex?

Hee hee hee...Sedona is a spiritual place for many, in fact the Native Americans feel it is sacred, and the sheer beauty of the place call almost take your breath away...but I don't know about a vortex or really what it's suppose to feel like.

But I HAVE seen ants vortexing! They put their little ant heads together in a circle and sit there, maybe ten or twelve strong, and sort of vibrate in that circle. Honest...I'm not being silly here. Seen it...it's weird. Anyone out there with a knowledge of insects know what they are doing?

I saw a show the other night and found out where I grew up in the Hudson Valley NY is a vortex. I didn't notice a darn thing, In Sedona either.

That is so amazing . . . my hubby and I were married in Bora Bora and had the same experience, though ours brought us to Christ and a new-found love for His creation, which includes the very beauty of His Sedona (another favorite of ours). And you're right, places like those are hardly a natural happen-stance.

When we were in Bora Bora my hubby shared with me how even though we weren't married in a church (we were not religious people back then) he felt we were in the prescence of God. It changed our lives.

Sedona? Yeah, pretty and wierd all in the same. I think it wouldn't be so wierd if it weren't for the trillion variants of people there of which we were, too - tee hee.

Anyway, thanks for reminding us of Bora Bora. Getting married there was fabulous!

God is with us every day just like the Bible says; while He is waking us up each morning with His beautiful sunshine, giving us a gentle breeze, sparkling His stars at night, etc. I love Sedona. It is just one of His many amazing and breathtaking creations.

Just then the wind picked up, thank goodness, to conceal an enormous arse blast that otherwise would have made everyone within a 20 ft radius chuckle out loud (and maybe choke too).

It was then I realized that my lunch at Oaxaca's (Mexican restaurant in town) was making its way through me at an astonishing pace.

Seriously though, never felt anything spiritual at any of the vortices.
Thank you for sharing such an enlightening experience, now, how old are you?????

Steve-O's profile suggests he is a young adult but it's hard to say for sure It also says he lives near Chicago and has lived in Tennessee...which makes me curious as to how he is so "knowledgable" about Arizona? I have found that folks who don't live in an area are generally not experts on that area, even though they may feel they are. Visiting does not count.

Therefore, if you ever visit Chicago and feel the need to share your experiences online, I will come down on you for not being a native and therefore not entitled to share. Sounds ridiculous, doesnt it? You bet.

Many people have visited AZ and felt the "vortices" in and around Sedona. You dont have to be a native to feel them, do you? Didnt think so. Besides, I was just having a little fun in my post, lighten up.

I would never dream of giving information about Chicago to anyone else if they were interested in living there. Even though I have been there, by the way. Big city, nice as far as cities go. I would say that I had been there and how I felt about it but as far as stating facts about the area, I would not attempt to do that.

I just noticed that it's common for folks to give their opinions on whether or not someone should move to an area when, in fact, they do not live there themselves. You can have an opinion, of course, from a visit but I'm not sure it is valuable to someone who is looking to move to and live in a certain area. It's not just you, Steve-O...it's common. Now I will get barraged by objections from people who have visited AZ I guess.

And it wasn't me who asked your age, by the way. I simply followed up by checking your profile to see because the "joking around" was sorta juvenile. I guess I was slightly surprised to find out you live in IL though, because you post a lot of the AZ forum.

Well, thats fine and dandy, but I didnt mislead anyone regarding this thread, nor would I do so on any other thread. The OP asked if anyone had felt anything at the numerous vortex spots around Sedona, I had a little fun with it, then finished my story with an honest answer. Is there something wrong with that?

Nope...I suppose many folks are just getting a bit weary of your extensive knowledge of a state where you do not reside. It's not just this thread.
