Hello. I will be moving to Arizona within the next 9 months or so. Could you good people please give me pros and cons of Sierra Vista and Apache Junction? Thanks so much!

Here is one comparison....at 2:45 AZ time this morning, Sierra Vista was 71 degrees. Apache Junction was 90 degrees.

One city has everything a consumer could want within a few miles...the other not so much.

I do know SV, I do not know AJ....other than it would be too close to the mass of humanity in Phoenix to suit me.

By searching the demographics offered within City-Data, you might be able to eliminate one city based on your likes/dislikes.

Regards

SV has one of the best climates in the country. Only reasons I would pick AJ over SV would be if you need to work at a onsite job or being near a big city is important. If you can work from home, self employed, retired or are financially independent, SV.

However I like Bisbee more than SV and lots of cities more desirable than AJ in the valley.

What are your parameters and why just these 2 cities? AJ is close to Phoenix metro which is a huge advantage imo but some people would prefer a remote location like SV. SV has a much milder and better climate but AJ is more preferable if you want really hot and dry.
