Some highly judgemental folks here. To me it is no different than taking a tylenol for back pain. And even that probably offends someone.

I live Seattle but down visiting 76 year old mom in AZ, she's looking forward to some edibles being available soon. I was telling her of of a juice drink I found that had 10 to 1 CBD/THC levels. Don't get the head high but great relief of body aches and pains.

The past 6 years I've learned that Marijuana isn't the same now as it was back in my 80's high school. Lot's of science and medicinal qualities behind it.

I'm hoping prices become more reasonable again after all the initial hoopla dies down. The average price is about double now what it was before recreational sales began.

Have her start very small with edibles, maybe 2.5 mg then 5 next time if that does nothing. And remind her edibles take 2 hours to kick in so don't continue taking more. After a few attempts she'll figure out what works for her. I felt nothing the first two times but I was happy to start with too little rather than too much. I agree the high CBD levels will offer more of the pain relief and relaxation versus the psychoactive effects of the THC.

I think the medical card holders get better deals and access to things recreational does not. I'm not a heavy user at all but I bought enough to probably last me 3-4 months and it was $180.

LOL -- After at least a 15 year absence from the stuff, I tried it in Colorado last fall and had the opposite problem -- started with way too much after reading the label wrong. Wont' make that mistake again!

Good advice, thank you.

I'm happy it's legal because it used to be you could be charged with a felony for simply having a nug on you here in AZ.
And no I'm not super lefty, I actually vote Republican and consider myself a libertarian.

What about all the possible side effects of the millions of "prescription" pills the docs push ?

FYI- Sent some down to ma, she cut one in half and did not like it at all so that'll save me from sneaking it through the mail to her. Funny enough she shared it with an acquaintance who it did wonders for and has a daughter in the Seattle area that will send to her.
