Default Is any one familiar with local home builders in Douglas, AZ?

I heard some good, but mostly bad things about Douglas, AZ in another forum. However, I visited the place for my self and found it was a descent small town atmosphere with friendly down to earth residents. Im planning to relocate from Phoenix (you want to talk about crime!). My family has land there and I hope to build a home, unfortunantly I dont know of any home builders, and even if I did I really wouldnt know who is the most reputable. Can anyone help?

Some thoughts on Douglas...I moved here 4 years ago from the beach in San Diego. It's a nice, small town, people are friendly,95% are Mexican, or Mexican American. We have a super-Walmart, safeway, food-city, small movie theater. I keep hearing about the smuggling, I'm sure it's going on, but it's all underground. The town is clean and well-kept, not alot to do, but Sierra Vista is 50,000 and about 50 miles away.I live 7 miles outside of town, in a mobile with 10 acres and a saddle mule, a donkey, two dogs.As I type,I am looking out my window at the pedragosa mountains about 8 miles away. I payed 32,000.00 for my property, in turn-key condition. I don't believe I could have found comparible horse-property anywhere in the southwest, with warm winter weather e.t.c. I have lived in Hawaii, Florida, Penn, Mich., Ill., Texas, L.A, San Diego yada, yada...

Thanks for your comment. Damn, that sounds nice. Thats exactly the kind of view I want to see when I look out my window! I visited recently for the 4th of July and the weather was heaven compared to Phoenix. Im so tired of the big city. I just need to find a job before I can move down there.
