Are they predicting snow in Prescott? I was planning to go my cabin on Friday and watching the forecast for there - north of Strawberry at 6800 feet. It keeps getting colder and snowier. They are now saying rain early turning to snow after 11am. This is just amazing by historical norms. Places near Flag had 6 inches just last week. Now again?

Rain in Phoenix is even more insane. According to the NWS there has only been one day in the entire weather history when it rained on 5/23. |

No, no snow predicted in Prescott...but one of the earlier posters said snow was predicted for the mountains. I seriously doubt that. We could use rain...even an early T-storm would be welcome as long as it doesn't set off a fire.

We just have different interpretations of "mountains"...ha! 7,000 to over 8,000 feet...possible indeed. When you get higher than 8000 feet you can have snow year round. Hawaii even has that. It was blissfully cool here in the Prescott area last night...but no rain and no snow
. Perhaps yet to come...hope so, we need every drop of rain we can get! |

Well, about 11:30 in So CA we just experianced a very heavy thunder and lightning storm with lots of rain and it's moving east. So you might want to look for it.
